Mexico has some wonderful natural tourist attractions and is pretty hard to beat as a fishing destination. Bass fishing in Mexico is no exception as not only are the fish plentiful but the surrounding landscape makes fishing a sheer joy even when you have an off day!

Lake El Sato Makes Bass Fishing In Mexico A Must!
Undoubtedly, one of Mexico's more popular bass fishing havens is Lake El Sato. Not only does it make bass fishing in Mexico a pure pleasure but Lake El Sato provides the added bonus of beautiful scenery. Sometimes you can drift away in your thoughts while you cast your line with concentration a major factor.
Lake El Sato is situated close to Mazatlan (a leading tourist destination) and is hugged by the Sierra Madre mountain range. El Sato has a reputation worldwide as being the best lake for bass fishing. Amazingly, bass was only introduced to the lake in recent years but such were the conditions that the bass have simply thrived and multiplied in numbers.
Fishing Adventure At Cabo San Lucas
Fishing enthusiasts will tell you if it's the big fish you want then you need to visit Cabo San Lucas. Why? Unlike Lake ZEl Sato which provides fishing among a serene background, Cabo San Lucas is renowned for offering fishing enthusiasts a deep sea water fishing adventure that will live with them forever. The waters here comprise hundreds of fish species in fact, some estimate close to a thousand and even a novice can snag a fish here! It's a record-breaking catch area with fish up to 100 pounds common.
How Much Will It Cost?
Fish are plentiful in Mexico and terms and conditions make bass fishing in Mexico well worth the effort. Fees for a two-day package on Lae El Sato will set you back about $500 and includes transport to and from the lake (first class), all meals, unlimited drinks, fishing license, accommodation and expert bi-lingual boat guides. That's a pretty hard deal to beat. Remember, There have been bass caught here in recent years weighing up to 18 pounds!
Cabo San Lucas offers similar terms. A special charter for 2-3 people set you back between $200-500 including the same features as a Lake El Sato expedition. You also get fishing lines, bait, tackle and all the necessary fishing equipment. Best of all, just bring yourself and some fishing spirit and be looked after by the boat's crew which usually numbers about five. Oh, and not forgetting your appointed guide!
